New DOT Numbers by State: Latest FMCSA Release Counts
4,010 newly registered motor carriers in the 30 days to September 5, 2026, 169 in the latest release alone, grouped by physical address state. Open a state to see fleet sizes, top cities, contact coverage, and the fixed free sample.
Thirty-day figures sum every complete release in that window; single-release counts are dated observations, not monthly totals. A recorded phone or email is public registration data, not consent to contact.

How these counts work
newtruckingleads imports the public FMCSA motor carrier census file once a complete daily release is detected. Each state count is the number of newly registered carriers whose physical address is in that state for the most recent complete release. Partial releases are never counted.
A new USDOT number can be a new business, an owner-operator adding authority, or an administrative update to an existing entity. Check the current FMCSA record before treating any registration as an opportunity, and follow TCPA, CAN-SPAM, do-not-call, and state telemarketing rules before contacting a carrier.
